I don’t care if I’m immature. I CAN’T STOP LAUGHING.

Oh hi there! Thanks Judy!
Obviously Magick would win this fight, even without the Phoenix Force possessing her, but Spider-Woman wins from pure fabulousness. I mean, look at the super-pits! Not every hero can pull off that look.

The response to my post yesterday was a wee bit underwhelming, given the enthusiasm previously expressed by people. I understand - you need pics to grab your attention. Here they are!
So go check out my new website! Read it. Maybe buy something. I would hate to present a meager check to the fine people at Hero Initiative.
Also, this photo set came from an interview I did. Two for one! Bazinga!

So I’m digging through photos on a couple different HDs, trying to find the ones that are large enough and suitable enough for printing purposes, and in the midst of saying to myself ‘man, I really need to consolidate’ I found a couple I don’t think I’ve ever shared before. When doing a photoshoot, it’s pretty important to have fun with the whole process, and I have quite a number of excerpt/blooper shots that will never see the light of day. But these two were nice. This ‘shoot didn’t encourage a lot of smiling…and every time I picked up Death by the horns, I felt like I was holding a steering wheel. I am making car noises.
I’d link the rest of the ‘shoot, but they’re inaccessibly on Flickr. Here’s a few on FB.
Heads up! After years of being on the fence on the matter, I’m going to start selling prints, soon. Very soon. Here’s the deal: $10 a pop, and half of that money will be donated to the HeroInitiative.org. The other half I’ll make magic with. Sound good? I hope to have at least a single print available for most of my costumes, but please let me know what y’all want so I know where the demand is. The pics in the collage will definitely be available for prints.
EDIT: Might be $12 a pop with a 3 for $30 deal. $5 flat shipping, no matter how many prints you buy. I’ve actually been told by a number of people already that I’m not charging enough! Never thought I’d hear that complaint!
UPDATE: Prints are now for sale at bellechere.net!
SIX HOURS AWAY! I am excite. I wanted to make a compilation picture of me as my favorite Avengers, but I just don’t have a local photog. So here’s a collage!
Have fun at the movies!
COSPLAY
I don’t think I can cope with TWO Power Girls, both extremely well equipped. I shall have to have a lie down.
*snorts* The caption. Reblogging because two Power Girls ARE better than one. This is me (left) and ArizonaPG (really sweet lady!) at NYCC. Photo by Robbins Studios.
Also, I’m no longer paying for a pro Flickr account, so the majority of my pics can no longer be seen there. Not sure where I’ll be posting pics now.
161 Days Left Until Dragon*Con!!!
Today’s Featured Costumer is BELLECHERE!!!
Awww, thanks LJ! I always look forward to seeing you at DragonCon!
A little Anna Mercury cosplay never hurt anyone. Photographer Credit: David Beverly. Model: BelleChere
About the Picture: This was at the end of Wizard World Chicago 2008, when I had the pleasure of working with the convention’s Guest of Honor and creator/writer of Anna Mercury, Warren Ellis. After chatting with the internet Jesus, I felt I had Anna Mercury’s attitude down pat
I’m reblogging this because Warren Ellis pointed out (via The Official Warren Ellis Compound) that he said in his FAQ that Anna Mercury will be continued/concluded roundabouts this summer.

More people should pick up this book. Now’s a good time to start.
I hope everyone’s having a blast down at MegaCon! I was there two years ago and wish I could have worked it out to return this year.
This is one of my favorite pics from that MegaCon - Amanda Conner and I! I’ve been a fan of her work since she came on the scene, loved seeing her talent be recognized (so few women are in the comic industry!), and was thrilled to meet one of my artistic inspirations.
The second pic was her idea.
Lady Death
pale ladies….whut?!
Woohoo, there’s a Bellechere on my dash! <3
O heeeey! Don’t mind me, just hangin’ out with my Deathbringer. Waiting for some demons to kill. Doin’ my thing.

Alright, 2012. Let me be frank with you: I’m not gonna take any more crap. Pic related - it’s my ‘HEY, YOU THERE, CUT IT THE FUCK OUT’ pic.
2012? You are going to be epic. You are destined for it. I will make you that way, and you are going to like it. Okay? Okay.
Belle Chere as Ms. Marvel
Reposting this cause, dang, there was a great sense of strength when I wore this outfit, and I kinda need that right now.
I messed up my ankle. It’s been a week tomorrow and it has gotten gradually worse despite ice/rest/bandaging. I’ve never had a broken bone, so I’m not sure if this pain is due to a fracture, which leads me to the conclusion that I’m either very resistant to pain, or very stupid. Here’s hoping it’s a serious sprain and not a break - I don’t think I can wear the heels I do for costuming with a cast on, hah!
So here’s how my 2011 went. Tumblr wouldn’t even let me load up all the pics I wanted to, hah!
This year wasn’t great for me in terms of getting to create my own costumes (mostly because I made so many costumes for other people!) but I still feel it was successful. Especially physically! This year I give myself a gold star, fitness-wise. According to my 2011 Costume List I still have Tarot and Witchblade to rock. I’m waiting for snow to hit for a Tarot shoot, and Witchblade is a work in progress, but still definitely being created.
I didn’t attend SDCC this year, but I went to C2E2, and after all the fun I had there it hardly bothered me that I wasn’t involved in the San Diego rush. DragonCon, as always, was my favorite convention.
2012 will be a fun year! I’ll be posting my 2012 Costume List within the next couple days, so keep an eye out. Which conventions I will be attending is still up in the air. As always, if you would like me to attend one of your local conventions, shoot a message towards the guest coordinator and brag about me. I’d appreciate it!
Here’s to 2012!
A day late, but Happy Birthday to Stan ‘The Man’ Lee! 89 years young! It was a pleasure to have met him this year.
So this pic comes with a bit of a story. I was chatting with my friends, it was near the end of NYCC, and a guy with a SECURITY badge taps me on the shoulder. “Excuse me, could we get your picture, over here?” He motions to a booth and I say: “Would you mind coming over here for the picture? I’m chatting with my friends.” “No,” he says, “I don’t think you understand. Stan Lee would like a photo with you.” I reached across, grabbed my friend’s arm, and said “OhMyGod, StanLeeWantsAPicWithMe!” This is what it takes for me to abandon a conversation with my friends, hah! I walk into the booth, the guy says “One last photo for the day, Mr. Lee.” Stan turns and looks at me, flings his arms wide, and says “Oh no! You mean I have to get a picture with /another/ gorgeous woman?!” What a flirt. My one big wish was that I was in a Marvel costume! Go figure.
